Q. What is the difference between regular carpeting cleaning chemicals and eco carpet cleaning solutions?

A. Traditional commercial carpet-cleaning solutions contain a cocktail of noxious synthetic chemicals. Eco carpet cleaning solutions are plant based instead of chemical based.

Q. What are allergens?

A. Mite excrement (house dust) pollen, animal hair and mould spores are all allergens that can cause respiratory illnesses.

Q. Do the products you use actually get rid of the allergens?

A. All allergens are caused by proteins. Our solutions break these protein structures down, so that, when inhaled, these are no longer regarded as enemies by the human immune system, and thus no allergic reaction is provoked. The active substances are harmless for humans and do not show any allergic potential of their own. In order to avoid air allergen reactions, these solutions can also be used as preventive measure.

Q. Environmentally friendly and safe alternatives are always more expensive than normal services, is this one too?

A. No, while the products that our cleaners use are more expensive than standard chemicals, this is NOT reflected in what you pay.

Q. Will the service be as effective as one using detergents and solvents?

A. Absolutely, your carpets will be left exceptionally clean and safe for all those who come into contact with them.

Q. What type of method do you use to clean carpets?

A. We use 'water extraction'. Whereby our machines apply water spray directly onto your carpet, upholstery or mattress and extract the solution simultaneously.

Q. Will ‘wet cleaning’ my carpets damage them?

A. That may have been true once or with older machines but with our specially built systems, water extraction is by far the best method of getting a deep cleaning, and most of today’s carpets were designed to be wet cleaned. If we are in any way concerned that your carpet is manufactured as such that wet cleaning may damage it, we will explain this to you and a decision to carry on will be entirely yours.

Q. Do you "chem-dry" or dry clean the carpets? I don't like my carpets to be wet.

A. We don't use any chemicals on carpeting or upholstery. We use all natural products to clean, that includes water. Our customers usually don't mind the small inconvenience of a slightly damp surface as long as they were contributing to their health and the environment.

Q. Do you use a truck mounted machine or do you use a portable extractor? Truck mounted machines save time don't they?

A. Yes, portable machines take more time to clean but does not waste energy like van mounted machines. These van mounted machines use massive amounts of fuel to heat and deliver the cleaning solution to the job in hand. They are over engineered for carpet and upholstery cleaning, and the only benefit is to the user in faster setup times, but not to you, the customer. We are an eco friendly company. When hybrid or more fuel efficient trucks become available we will consider using them.
